Sotto

Local voice dictation and voice assistant for macOS

Sotto types what you say into any Mac app using on-device models by default, and can also act as a voice assistant, transcribe files and run a local API server. Recordings and transcripts stay on your Mac unless you connect a cloud provider yourself. Speaking instead of typing can also make writing easier for people who find typing slow, tiring or painful.
