OpenWhispr
Open-source voice-to-text dictation with local or cloud models
OpenWhispr is an MIT-licensed desktop app: press a hotkey, speak, and your words appear at your cursor, with fully offline transcription using local models or faster cloud processing. It also does meeting transcription and notes. The project states it collects no data and has no telemetry. Speaking instead of typing can also make writing easier for people who find typing slow, tiring or painful.
